Dear Prima Bananas,
We had our fitting with our first model Kristina Bordas yesterday afternoon. The fitting is to test makeup, test lighting, and adjust the dress prototype before heading to the final photo shoot, and later the official launch of Prima Zaria.
There are further adjustments I’ll be making to the final Victorian dress in correct fabric. Thank GOD for the creation of muslin, I feel less guilty to have to tear it down and fix the size.
This dress is created to promote a collection of bags that is also called Victoria. I’ve always been totally fascinated by that obsession over the “s shape,” and the idea of “restriction through construction.” This collection of bags will feature laser cutout leather in black with speckles of shimmering gold + patent leather in champagne.
The final dress will be in metallic silver satin and taffeta.
We are still working on the hair and makeup but the final look will feature a semi-exposed metal bun on head, and acrylic colors on face.

Thank you all for believing in Prima Zaria and working just as hard as us. None of these will be possible without the following people:
Model – Kristina Bordas
Artistic Director – Stella
Makeup Artist – Chloe Riesen
Design Assistant & Video artist of the day – Brian Bae
Photographer – aRmas.
Ultra Cool Head Master of Pattern Making – Cloud Chen
All this is to say, it’s never too late to become our fan before we launch!!!
