ModaRevise Ukiyo-e Collection Inspiration

Hi Moda Lovers!

A Belated Happy New Year to you and your family!

So where have Moda been? @Disney World of course!

In any case, new collections for 2012 very excited!

Ukiyo-e Collection

This collection is born out of deep fascination with Japanese Ukiyo-e print art from the Meiji and earlier Era. In case you are wondering the relevance of Ukiyo-e art, many art historians believed that this is the granddaddy to Japanese Manga and Anime styles!

In order to re-create the water-color print with brush strokes, we experimented with color printing on pigskin to keep both the material softness and vibrancy of colors. To finish off the collection, I decided to add pebble cow leather in white and fitted with custom designed belt bucket studded with fresh water pearls, turquoise, and onyx in Rhodium plating so it will not rust!

Yes this belt buckle is detachable and can be worn separately to parties and more! The tote comes with 14K gold-plated necklace so I suppose this is Buy one Get one Free!

Will soon début on our website http://www.modarevise.com!
